I am a professional designer and video producer working in Oklahoma specializing in HD video graphics. If you need HD video graphics for advertising, marketing, product-support campaigns or to update your video graphics library, I will bring your projects to life at a price you can afford.
Back in the "old days", before digital technology began replacing analog equipment in the U.S. broadcasting industry, graphics, animations and other sequences were created using standard definition (SD) protocols. As the industry began transitioning to all-digital, high definition (HD) video-graphics ready signal production in 2008, new HD video graphics and animations were created using HD protocols. Where SD was generally produced to fit a 4:3 aspect ratio on television screens, HD video graphics are designed at 16:9.
The problem is that the vast majority of SD graphical elements are incompatible with HD video graphics broadcast. Because of the smaller aspect ratio, upscaling an SD graphic for an HD video broadcast will cause the image to blur, stretch and skew. Most television stations and other video production consumers maintain a dedicated library of animated or dynamic graphical elements such as titles, illustrative sequences, scenario re-enactments, and many others. These libraries were often built over many years, one piece at a time, making it prohibitively expensive and time-consuming to replace with HD video graphics all at once.
HD video graphics may be utilized in both SD and HD applications. This is because they are created according to vector-graphics protocols. This simply means that the graphical elements can be resized to any area or aspect ratio without skewing or losing edge sharpness. Once upgraded to HD video graphic format, such items should, theoretically, never need to be upgraded again because they will be compatible with all digital and analog applications in the present and future.
I have several years' experience creating vector and HD video graphics. Rates vary depending on whether you are re-creating an existing SD graphical element or if you are creating something from scratch. However, my rates are very competitive and reasonable, and I work closely with clients to produce the HD video graphics at a price they can afford.
